Back in 2010, I got an assignment to photograph a National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration at Balfour Park in downtown Toronto. I remember that Darren was one of many who took the time to welcome me, to teach me what I was photographing and when significant moments would happen during the day. As one of the head dancers for the day - he was busy, but he took the time to help me achieve more meaningful photographs. Miigwech!
